A personal milestone: Ahava Memorials on NPR

I’m honored to share that Ahava Memorials was recently featured on NPR (WHYY Philadelphia)—both online and on the radio.

The story gave me the opportunity to talk about something deeply personal: why I started Ahava Memorials and how we help families honor the memory of their loved ones and pets in a unique, lasting way.

At Ahava Memorials, we create one-of-a-kind ceramic memorials by incorporating ashes into a custom glaze. The result is not just an object, but a meaningful work of art—something you can hold, display, and connect with as part of the grieving and remembrance process.

Being invited to share this work on NPR was a moving experience. I’m grateful for the chance to speak about the importance of memorialization, and how art can bring comfort, beauty, and connection in times of loss.

To everyone who has supported Ahava Memorials—whether by trusting us with a loved one’s memory, sharing our story, or simply following along—thank you. Your encouragement makes this work possible.

With gratitude,
